One unit and two units cost the same, so if you have a second one, have it done. Normal and foam jet servicing are the same price and count together. Faults are a fixed price for the visit: dripping water, weak cooling or a unit that won't start is $59 and that settles it; a blocked drain pipe is $119. Gas top-up is $179 for R32, $159 for R410A and $99 for R22 — full or half top-up included, and $20 a unit cheaper booked with a service. Outdoor condenser cleaning is $49 a unit, booked as its own visit.

How is a chemical overhaul different from normal servicing?
Normal servicing ($58 for one or two units) cleans the unit in place. An overhaul takes the unit apart and deep cleans the coil, blower and drainage tray, then reassembles and tests it — the reset button for a neglected unit.
Will it fix the musty smell?
If the smell is mould on the coil — and it usually is — yes. A wipe-down won't reach it; an overhaul will.
How do I know my unit needs one?
It smells when it starts, drips onto the floor, or barely cools even after a normal service. Any of those points to the coil.
