The price turns on one thing: whether your new sink fits the hole the old one came out of. Same size is a straight swap. A larger bowl means cutting the worktop, and how hard that is depends on what the worktop is made of — laminate and solid surface are routine, quartz and granite are a different job.
Send us a photo of the sink you've bought, one of the current sink from above, and one of the pipework in the cabinet underneath. That is usually enough to price it without a visit.
Buying your own is fine and often cheaper. Check the cabinet width before you order, not the sink you're replacing — a 800mm bowl does not go into a 600mm base unit however well it matches the hole.
A sink swap is the right moment to change the waste trap and the tap hoses. They're a few dollars of parts while everything is already apart, and they are the two things that leak later.

How much does it cost to replace a kitchen sink?
It depends on whether the new sink fits the existing cut-out. Send a photo of the new sink, the current one, and the pipework underneath and we'll quote it on WhatsApp — free, before anyone comes.
Can you fit a sink I bought myself?
Yes. Plenty of customers buy their own. Send us a photo of it before you unbox it and we will tell you whether it fits your worktop and cabinet.
Can you make the hole bigger for a larger sink?
Usually. Laminate and solid-surface worktops are routine. Quartz and granite can be cut but it is a bigger job and we will say so in the quote rather than find out on the day.
Do you replace the waste pipe and trap too?
We re-pipe the waste and trap as part of the job. If the existing parts are old or brittle we will tell you before fitting them back — replacing them while everything is apart costs a few dollars and saves a leak later.
How long does it take?
A straight swap is usually done within a couple of hours. Cutting a worktop to fit a larger bowl takes longer, and we will tell you which one yours is when we quote.
